Silent Spring Ensemble

String instruments are my favorite, especially the cello. So a local band that plays awesome mostly instrumental music that includes a violin AND a Cello owns me. I will be wherever they are playing, because they play a great show. This past trip to Conundrum to see them, as well as Those Lavender Whales and Jeffrey Lewis was the fullest that I’ve ever seen the place. I managed to sneak around a couple of people to get some photos, but by the time Those Lavender Whales was setting up, I just camped out on the wall near the stage to make sure I was unobstructed. Apparently, when every act scheduled to play is that good, it makes me work harder for a picture. Which isn’t a bad thing.
